THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED  

 

    

   The map shows the route we are taking.  We completed phase I (Chardon, Ohio to St. Louis, Missouri) on September 25,2002. We completed  phase II (St Louis, MO to Amarillo, Texas) on June 26,2003. Our journey continues through lovely towns named  Po Dunk, Nowheresville, and Whereinthehellarewe,USA.  We have  meet many interesting people that have  become friends and others that will not make it on our Christmas card list. Jim uses  his laptop computer for contact with his office and has a wireless connection the the internet.  Nightly he will publish pictures and stories for you to be with us in spirit.    To track our daily progress, go to the Selection Menu and click on Phase III.

 

Many ask us "where do you stay?". We investigated accommodations from a tent , pop up camper, motor home and lastly motels.  We decided motels made  more sense.  I'm sure you all agree given Jim's abilities to cope with the great outdoors and Iris's love for hot showers.  Most motels are dog friendly so, most times,  Biscuit has her own bed. 

 

The map below represents our final leg of our journey.  We are  leaving from Amarillo, Tx on October 29, 2003 to reach  our final destination, Phoenix, Az
