This journey is for awareness, education and remembrance: not a fundraiser.  My husband and I are using our personal funds to make this happen.  We are asking for your support in other ways:

We encourage you to donate to your local mental health agency and to suicide education and prevention organizations.  A partial list is included.

Suicide Prevention Advocacy Network is working in Congress to acknowledge suicide as a national health issue.  Letters to the President, Congress, and Governors are being sent to urge them to pass this legislature.  I urge you to sign these for SPAN.

As I walk, I visualize others walking with me for a little while, a couple hours, a few miles or maybe even days.  I would welcome anyone who would be interested in sharing this journey.  Maybe you know some one who would like to walk and talk and share our stories.  Please pass this message along.
